Music Director

I wanted to be a conductor from the age of six when I attended my first symphony orchestra concert. Nearly 60 years later the excitement and magic has not worn off one little bit. I have been fortunate to have had  the opportunity to conduct orchestras, choirs  and ensembles from my first years at music academy in Jerusalem in the late 70's until the present day.

During the 80's and 90's I was MD of the Electric Symphny Orchestra - we did some pretty amazing things - fully amplified concerts which were lit with wonderful light shows, premieres of music written specially for the orchestra, the whole orchestra seated on kneeling stools. We wanted to bring the symphony orchestra into the 20th century and many of the things we pioneered then are now totally mainstream.

Currently I am Music Director of the Torbay Symphony Orchestra which performs in the South Devon county of the UK.
